Did you hear…

…that, according to a United States Federal Government study, “about 1 percent of Web sites indexed by Google and Microsoft are sexually explicit … as the Justice Department seeks to revive the 1998 Child Online Protection Act, which required commercial Web sites to collect a credit card number or other proof of age before allowing Internet users to view material deemed ‘harmful to minors'”. The interesting story is available from MSNBC here: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15721799/.

By the way…I’m sorry about not posting lately, but when the Internet is out (with no thanks to Charter Communications), there is nothing much I can do about things. Sorry about that, and if you want to petition Charter about improving its services, please do.
