Not no, but Hell no!! on Congress ordering Gulfstream jets for their use. What is wrong with this country and our Congress who is supposed to be working for us? They are putting themselves in the same category and “club” as the auto executives and I’m disgusted.

I did not vote for President Obama but I am trying very hard to support him and I do hope he can do something about this.

This is the dumbest report I have read all week. How can a research company track that information and come with these figures yet our government can’t? I thought the word illegal meant NOT LEGAL therefor subject to deportation and arrest? Duh, whats wrong with this?

Nope we want them to get legal and pay their taxes and assimilate like every other immigrant group in US history. THEY, as we like to use the term, are still human beings as much as we wish to demonize them. The Irish lived in squalor, the African lived in slavery, the German was not trusted and ostracized, the Japanese were interned. This too will pass then they will be American. It is just that there are so many here so quickly that a lot of “Americans” are freaking out thinking “their” country is changing to something they don’t like. I’m a student of history and know full well that they too will contribute to the greatness of our dream which is America. Sorry, no fear mongering here.

I personally hope you enjoy your stay, contribute to our society, make a life here for you and your children, ensure those children are properly assimilated into American culture, pay your taxes, follow the laws of this land, and reach each and every goal that you have for yourselves and your families. Contrary to what you may think of America as a anti-imigrant strong hold, most of us regular citizens are accepting. You and those like you are the future builders of our society and will probably have to begin shouldering the tax burden and social security burden we have created for our middle class. Recently The University of California changed it’s admission policy for all 9 of it’s campuses.
Flooded by Asian students who tend to do better than whites on test scores and school grades, the US regants decided to downplay the importance of tests and grades in their admission policy

Good point. I still don’t think the failures in senior executive positions at AIG deserve a bonus. I suspect you don’t either and perhaps you agree the company should have been allowed to die. After all we bailed out the US banks and primarily the AIG bailout money bailed out foreign concerns that AIG was providing CDS to.

I am not suprised by the findings in the plant.FDA does not have inspectors in the plants that operate under their jurisdiction. An FDA inspector may enter a plant once a year (if that)to do inspection. Meat industry knows they have an inspector in the plants every day. If it is required for meat industry why isn’t it required for plants that run non-meat items? Consumers feel safe eating processed foods because they believe it is produced in a sanitary environment with federal inspectors making sure the establishments are not shipping contaminated or adulterated product. I think ANY establishment that is producing an item that is intended for human consumption needs to have inspection daily regardless of whether it contains meat or not. Microorganisms don’t differentiate, they will grow anywhere and on anything. Why doesn’t the FDA step up there part of consumer food safety and have inspectors in the plants every day.

Ummmm I have listened to Lan Lamhere for a few weeks now and as far as I’m concerned Lan isn’t to be trusted. I have heard him flip flop back and forth and ride the coat tails of Berg to get his unknown radio station known then flip back to Andy Martin. I decided to check out Lan and hes passed bad checks and made up a phony story about UFO’s with one of his friends to make money.
